What will you be able to do when you graduate?

  I will be able to value my patients in the best way with my previous knowledge, I must be able to be an excellent professional. to help my parents and sisters. to be able to have my own house, car, travel. probably not being able to spend much time with my family and friends. I imagine my life at that time very fulfilled always doing what I am passionate about and giving the best of me, I hope to always have the strength to learn and move forward to fulfill every dream I have set.

My Daily Routine

  My routine starts at 6:20am, I get up, shower, change, brush, eat breakfast, go to catch the bus at 7:00am, arrive at my practice site at 7:30am, get to work with my patients until 12:00pm, then at 12: 10pm I go to lunch I rest, I enter classes at 1:00pm until 6:00pm, at 6:30 I arrive at the gym I perform my routine, I leave at 8:00pm I catch the bus, I arrive home at 9:00pm I organize everything for the next day then, I go to sleep at 10:00pm.

CLINICAL CASE - KARINA ARRIETA

Female patient 32 years old sent to the emergency department. Presents: Fever and wheezing of acute onset. Respiratory distress: decreased vesicular murmur in left hemithorax, elongated expiration. Prescription: oseltamivir is administered for 5 days and the patient progresses favorably. Warnings: Patients with underlying respiratory disease, such as asthma or other chronic lung diseases cannot take this drug.  Side effects: The patient may present; diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain, headache and vomiting.  At the end of the treatment, the patient should not present fever, wheezing, her vesicular murmur should be completely normal.
